The third part in our sermon series examining the places we find Jesus in the Old Testament.

This week we take a look at Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy - specifically at the Day of Atonement, and the raising of the serpent in the wilderness.

Sermon Texts:

Leviticus 16:11-22
Hebrews 9:21-28
Numbers 21:4-9
John 3:12-16

Note: The first few minutes of this sermon were not recorded. All that was left off was an overview of the principles set down in the first two weeks, namely, that God is seen by no one in the Old Testament (John 6:46), and Jesus Himself is the image of the invisible God (Colossians 1:15). We therefore know that Jesus Himself is the one who appears to the saints in the Old Testament. Additionally, we are reminded that Jesus proclaimed to his disciples that He was present in all of the Old Testament (Luke 24:27).
